I lost 13-15lbs and finally broke the 170 mark! Which is huge because I was stuck for years at 175 lbs. Although summer holidays have set me back, I now know it is possible and how to do it again. Every pound seems so much more attainable. Also, putting myself first and not being afraid or feeling guilty to do something for myself.

“I was eating too much sugar, not drinking enough water, not putting myself first - ever; not planning, always feeling like I was 20 steps behind, 30-40lbs overweight”
What's your biggest win?
6 months ago I was living on a “wing and a prayer” – meaning I was just going through everyday without much mindfulness or planning. I was consistently craving chips, crackers, leftovers and eating large volumes in the evening while watching tv. I wanted to make changes, but I did not trust myself to make any lasting changes. I doubted my confidence and had damaging self-talk about being “old” “unhealthy” “never being able to do things” “being alone forever,” etc. I had a lot of brain fog and pain in my body and was really feeling shitty about myself.
Fast forward to today and I cannot believe the improvements. I have and improved focus. My resilience has increased the most. I now trust myself to eat a nutritious breakfast and lunch, hydrate and have begun to consistently plan for dinners. My restraint has also drastically improved. I can resist the cravings and if I do want to eat I can make better choices and not fall so far off of the wagon. At times, when I do feel like I drift away from my goals I am way faster to get back on track.
I am setting goals for myself to connect more with others, try new things and I have way more hope for myself. I feel like I will love again, but before that, I am enjoying this new relationship with myself and taking this time to reclaim my life. I truly would not be here without you and I can’t thank you enough for your knowledge, patience and lack of judgement.
